Sunan al-Fitrah are five things which, if they are done, will be in accordance with the natural pattern on which Allah made mankind and urged them to follow, so that they will be better and more perfect. For more, see the detailed answer below.
Sunnan Al-Fitrah
‘Aisha Reported That The Messenger Of Allah (PBUH) Said:
“عشر من الفطرة قص الشارب وإعفاء اللحية والسواك واستنشاق الماء وقص الأظفار وغسل البراجم ونتف الإبط ” وحلق العانة وانتقاص الماء قال زكرياء قال مصعب ونسيت العاشرة إلا أن تكون المضمضة. (رواه مسلم)
“Ten are of the fitrah, trimming the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the siwak, sniffing water into the nose, clipping fingernails, washing in between the fingers, removing hair from under the arms, shaving pubic hair, cleaning private parts with water.” The narrator said: “I forgot the tenth, but it could be rinsing the mouth.” (Collected By Muslim)
Sunnan Al-Fitrah (Acts That Correspond to Human Nature)
1. Siwaak: (Brushing Teeth)
Brushing is Sunnah at the time of before:
- Making Wudu
- Salah (Prayer)
- Get up from the sleep
- Entering House
- Entering Masjid
- Reciting Qur’an
Abu Hurairah narrated that Allah’s Messenger said ::”If it were not that it would be difficult on my nation, then I would have ordered them to use the Siwak for each prayer (Jami al Tirmizi)
2. Shaving Pubic And Underarm Hair
Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him), who said: He set us a time limit of no more than forty days for trimming the moustache, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hairs and shaving the pubic hair. (Reported by al Bukhaari , 10 284 and Muslim, 1 222

3. Circumcision
(This prevents dirt from getting on one’s penis, and also makes it easy to keep it clean.. Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah said,”Ibrahim circumcised himself after he was eighty years old.” (Related by al Bukhari.)
4. Trimming Mustache and Letting Beard Grow
Ibn ‘Umar related that the Messenger of Allah said, “Differ from the polytheists: let your beards (grow)” and shave your moustache.” (Related by al Bukhari and Muslim).
One should make sure that his moustache is not so long that food particles, drink and dirt accumulate in it.
“Whoever does not take (off) some of his moustache is not one of us.” (Related by Ahmad, an Nasa’i and at Tirmizhi , who classified it as sahih).
5. Clipping Fingernails & Toenails
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to like to start on the right when putting on shoes, combing his hair, purifying himself and in all his affairs. affairs.” (Sahi AL Bukhari 163)
6. General Tidiness
Combing and cutting one’s hair, clipping one’s nails, cleaning one’s body, wearing nice clothes or wearing perfume are all permissible and advisable.
Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Five acts are a part of natural instinct: circumcision, shaving pubic hair, plucking hair from the armpits, shortening the moustache, and clipping the nails.

What is Fitrah?
This word (fitrah) was also mentioned in the hadith narrated by Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Five things are part of the fitrah: removing the pubic hair, circumcision , trimming the moustache, plucking the armpit hairs, and trimming the nails. (Reported by al-jama’ah).
Allah knows the best. May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) guide all of us to His Truth and purify of our intentions, and allow us to enter Jannah together. And may Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) accept all our good deeds and help us in the cause, forgive our mistakes and make us amongst the Muntaqeen & By His Mercy make us all Inhabitants of Jannah.
